FREELANCE ECD/CW/CONSULTANT
(April 2023-Present)
Creative Directing, Film Directing, Writing, Producing, and Consulting depending on the project. Here are a few things I’ve done to date. Created the WOW Campaign for New Jersey Tourism. Consulted on and created a new positioning and visual identity for the Indy Art Center. Created and implemented a new global rebrand for Peta while writing and producing several campaigns.
Helped the KID Museum in Bethesda rewrite their grants and funding story.

GLOBAL ECD, 160/90, NYC, SM, ATL, STL, LDN, HK
(January 2019-March 2023)

I led the creative teams in 5 of the 7 offices. Most recently adding London and Hong Kong. I ran all creative development across the PR Group, Experiential Group, Sponsorship Group, The Influencer Group, and the Advertising Group. Clients include Lowe's, Anheuser-Busch (all brands), University of Arizona, Marriott (multiple brands), Audi, and Reebok among others. I saw my role as that of a mentor and educator as much as a Creative Director and built a strong, diverse team across offices. 

GLOBAL ECD, Y&R, NY (2015-2018)
I spent three years as the Global ECD for Dell and launched the new Dell Technologies. It was my responsibility to oversee the creation of all marketing communications in the U.S., China, India, and Latin America. Aside from overseeing all creative development and execution, I also had to maintain brand consistency across all marketing partners. I ran Dell.com, the Consumer Laptop Division, Dell Small Business, Medium to Large Businesses, as well as Dell Technologies, and their digital transformation work. In addition, I ran several pitches, created and developed a new pitch approach the agency adopted, and have continued to use with great success. 

ECD, Havas, NY (2012-2015)
I spent three years here overseeing the Dos Equis "Most Interesting Man in the World" campaign aka Stay Thirsty. In addition to continuing that campaign's tradition of creative excellence and helping to win a lifetime Effie for that account, I also ran several new business pitches, and led the Charles Schwab, New York Life, Keurig, Coppertone, and Jenny Craig accounts. 

ECD, mcgarrybowen, NY (2011-2012)
Here, I pitched and won the United Airlines account and ran the Verizon business. Oh, and I also met my wife. We figured if we were going to live together, one of us should get a job somewhere else. Hence, the very short-lived but life changing stint. 

CD, ARNOLD, BOSTON (2004-2011)
I spent 7 years here pitching and winning new business and running several accounts. I started out as the interactive CD on the VW account where I oversaw one of the most awarded websites in the industry. Soon after that, we pitched and won Volvo, an account I ran for 4 years working closely with London, Sweden and the Amsterdam offices. Beyond automotive, I ran the Timberland account, and contributed to the Ocean Spray, ESPN, and McDonald's accounts to name a few.

ABOUT

Father of 3 kids, ages 29, 19, and 8. I’m an aspiring children’s book writer, graphic novelist, and children’s animated series creator. I love drawing, painting, making music, doing LEGO with my son Smith, sharing playlists with my daughter Clara, grabbing coffee with my daughter Emma, and hanging out with my wife, Nari.  

APPROACH
I work for my team, not the other way around. I build and nurture diverse teams of talent and teach them to be collaborative, patient, kind, fair, upfront, and I never condemn failure. And by doing so, create rewarding relationships that help people and businesses grow.
